The short version
This site collects anonymous visit data so Chris can see how the portfolio is performing — page views, referrer, country, device class. Nothing personally identifying. No selling, no sharing. If you decline the consent banner, no analytics data is collected at all.
What we collect, when consent is granted
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Consent Mode v2 and IP anonymization enabled. With your consent, GA4 records anonymous interaction data — pages visited, time on page, country-level location, browser type, referring site. The IP address is anonymized by Google before storage. Cookies set by GA: _ga, _ga_Chris Prince (or similar) — these contain a random identifier, no personal info.
What we do not collect
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment info, IP addresses (raw), or any data you haven't explicitly given us by emailing. There is no contact form on this site that stores data — the email link opens your mail client and sends directly to chris@princechris.com.
Cookies
Only the GA4 analytics cookies described above are set, and only after you accept the consent banner. A small localStorage entry remembers your consent decision so we don't ask on every page.
Third parties
Google receives the analytics data described above. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. The site is hosted by Cloudflare; standard server-level access logs (which Cloudflare maintains for abuse prevention) are kept by Cloudflare per their policy.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to: access what data we have about you (none, unless you've emailed us), request deletion, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to a data protection authority. To withdraw analytics consent on this site, click Privacy preferences and choose Reject — analytics will stop tracking immediately and existing analytics cookies will be cleared. Data retention
GA4 data is retained for 14 months by default, then automatically deleted by Google. Email correspondence with us is kept until the conversation is closed.
